API terms

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms apply to the Undrop search API, on top of our terms of service. By using an API key, you agree to them.

Your keys

A key is personal: it belongs to the account that created it, and only that account's programs may use it. Keep your keys secret, on your server: never in a web page, an app you hand out or a public code repository. You are responsible for what is done with your keys. If one leaks, revoke it from your account page.

We may revoke a key, suspend access to the API or change its limits at any time, in particular in case of abuse or of a breach of these terms. An account whose key we revoked can't create new keys.

Links

Answers list only the listings whose link earns us a commission, and each link goes through our redirect (undrop.app/go/…). Show those links as we give them: don't rewrite, shorten, hide or replace them, don't open or prefetch them automatically, don't click them for your users, and don't reward anyone for clicking them or for buying through them.

Tell your users clearly, next to the links, that they are affiliate links that may earn a commission, as advertising disclosure rules require, such as those of the US Federal Trade Commission and European and French consumer law.

Don't buy search ads on a store's or a brand's name (brand bidding), and don't present your service as the store's or as Undrop.

Results

Prices and stock change often. Show results soon after you get them: don't keep or show them for more than 24 hours, and don't resell them or the data they hold, alone or as a database.

The API is not for browser extensions: don't call it from one or build one on it. Don't scrape the Undrop website: the API is the only automated way in.

Your searches

Searches and photos sent through the API are processed and kept like searches made on the site, as our privacy policy describes. Only send what you have the right to share, and no personal information about other people that the search doesn't need.

Availability and changes

The API is provided as is, with no guarantee that it is available, fast or free of errors, and it may change or stop. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages caused by its use or by its unavailability.

The API is free for now. We may start charging for it, change its limits, or change what answers include (for example, the stores' direct links instead of our affiliate links). We announce such changes on this page and on the site at least 30 days before they apply, except those needed to stop abuse.
